To install the modem and the software, these minimum system resources are required:
- Port: Type A USB port
- Processor: 150MHz or faster
- Disk drive: CD-ROM
- Memory: 128 MB
- Free disk space: 32 MB
- Dial-up networking: DUN bound to TCP/IP
Instructions:
Do not insert the modem before installing the software on the computer. When you complete the software installation, the system will prompt you to insert the modem into the USB port.
Do not eject the modem from your PC until you have followed the Safely Remove Hardware instructions for proper removal. Removing the modem improperly may cause a fatal error on your PC.
- Double-click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray.
- Select the correct option for your operating system from the Safely Remove Hardware window and click Stop.
- Confirm the device to be stopped and click OK.
- A Safe to Remove Hardware message appears, click Close.
- Remove the modem from your PC. When removing your modem, always grip it from the sides.
